Great Wall II
This section of the wall near Gubeikov north of Beijing is sometimes thought to be the most scenically impressive of its whole length. 1,036 steps to the top of this tower, the Great Wall of China cost 1 million lives, took 30 years to build, which began in the 7th Century B.C., is 3,726 miles long, and extends 1,500 miles from west to east to the China Sea; somewhere near the Ming Tombs and ChengDe, People's Republic of China, 2002.| < |
