Dalai Lama's Tibetan Palace

On a hazy day, this overview of the Lesser Potola was captured at ChengDe in Hebie Province, NW of Beijing. The Kangxi Emperor began a series of summer retreat palaces. The concept was enlarged by his grandson, Qianlong, who built, among other temples, Putuozongcheng Temple as a miniature copy of the Potola at Lhasa in Tibet; ChengDe, People's Republic of China, 2002.
